AFFECTS & DREAMS:
COMMUNITY RADIO EXPERIMENTS VOL. 1
Affects & Dreams started as a mini-series of a pre-existing radioshow called Good Morning, I Love You. Having been picked up by Lumbung Radio, a community radio experiment, we decided to run an art project where we would redesign our radioshow based on a series of writings written by Akirosa Palais, of which some were published on NON, some were compiled into Becoming Magazine Issue Zero and others became the basis of a book published by Becoming in 2023 named after Affects & Dreams.
Based on these writings, we wrote a proposal in essay form and began a 3-month process of modifying our usual DJ & radio practices (recording sets after coming home fom raves) into a practice for Affects & Dreams.
